The location is ideal to explore the South Hams including the award winning beaches of Slapton Sands and Blackpool Sands Slapton Ley Nature Reserve and the South West Coast Path. Situated close to Dartmouth with Torcross Slapton and Salcome nearby Strete has two restaurants one Michelin noted. Strete Barton House has been sympathetically refurbished with a mix of contemporary and Eastern classical art luxurious French sleigh beds (including a super-king size four-poster) Egyptian cotton bed linen silk bed furnishings featherdown pillows fluffy white towels television with DVD/CD player extensive beverage tray mineral water and luxury French toiletries. All bedrooms are spacious double size one with twin beds. The guest drawing room is filled with sofas and armchairs and an open fireplace.
